Cane Creek TT lever Cable compatible?

Hi, sorry for the newb question.

Will my stock brake cables on my raleigh rush hour be compatible with the cane creek tt levers?

I'm looking to put on bullhorns and want to have at least front brakes

CC TT levers do indeed need MTB cables IIRC. I'm too lazy to check but I think the bike has road stuff.

Try it when you have all the parts and buy an MTB cable if the original cable doesn't fit. $1.

+1,
You might need to use a longer housing to get the bends right.

...but many new bikes come with housing that's too long to begin with, so you could be ok.

Its MTB cable. Go to Performance Bikes and most have a brake cable that is universal. One end has the MTB doohookie and the other end the road. You just snip off the end you don't need.
