Paul Components disc hubs...

I read an article somewhere on-line about Paul hubs causing possible interference issues with spokes, rotors, forks, calipers, etc...when used with some frames due to the hub's wider flange spacing.

If I ever find the article again, I'll post the link.

Has anyone experienced such problems or have any other information regarding this?

Got a Paul FHUB on my SS - no problems whatsoever. Use a Bonty Maverick rim and Avid Cable disc brakes.

edit: that'll be a Mustang rim, then.

I built a Surly Karate Monkey with Paul disc hubs for a customer and had no problems whatsoever. Great hubs that are very well made.

Thanks for the replies. I was planning to buy a Surly frame so that's good news.

Here's the link to one of the websites where I read about the problems...which don't seem as serious as I had originally thought https://www.mtbreview.com/reviews/Hub...ct_80040.shtml
