bwa bwa bwaaaaaaa
the only reason you shouldn't paint it is that it seems in good condition- waste of money to paint a perfect frame if you ask me plus i think those fade jobs on some njs frames are really unique.
for everyone screaming at him for njs preservation? what? last i checked theres no world keirin museum buying up yahoo frames only in original perfect paint... and to top if off if a museum WERE to buy up a frame like that, if it had dings and **** all over it wouldn't they just repaint it to how it looked originally anyway? just my 2 cents but i don't understand the crazy fanatical obsession with original paint. look at vintage cars- if that ****s scratched up they repaint it and get original decals. it's called restoration.
in this case though it seems a waste as the frame is already cherry. if it wasn't though- i'd say go for it to get your dream bike, in the end 20 years from now no one will give a **** if it was original paint anyway.. if they wanted original paint they're paint it to it if it wasn't.
