To paint, or not to paint...

This frameset will shortly be in my possession. I have a history of powdercoating my frames, marking them with a bit more originality, plus I have a good connection. So, what do you guys think. I like the stock paint, but its a little cheesy. Sacrilige(sp?) to cover the fade or get to it? The color I have in mind is going to be awesome.
PS Heres what I did with my bareknuckle:

That paint looks fabulous and there are so many options you have to make everything look pleasing, although your Bareknuckle looks great too.
Is it just a weird photo, or does the logo on the seattube look photoshopped?

it does look photoshoped, but its not. its just the angle/focus. so far i'm leaning towards painting it. fades never did it for me, especially blue. dont worry bike snobs, its getting a full njs build.

At first I thought it was just the lighting, but that really is a fade job, right? Please don't paint it. There are lots of other bikes that you could paint.

I don't give a sh*t about NJS but if you paint that
it seems like a serious waste--the color is the bomb
and you cannot duplicate it in all likelihood--
what were you thinking, paint it black or
bright orange or something? Nah--ride that thing
until it really needs a paint job. Leave it.

Seriously, forget the NJS aspect, if you run that thing under a bridgestone collector's nose they will pay you not to paint it.
Also, marking a fade bridgestone with "a bit more originality" with p-coat? You have to be kidding. How many frames like this do you think are out there? I love powdercoat for basic one-color jobs, and yeah, you can do sparklies and other BS, but this frame was painted by hand, and you want to have somebody strip it, shock it, dust it, and bake it, and call that original? F that.

Is the OP fishing for comments on how dope that frame is?
F*ck it--paint it doo doo brown. Yes, your frame is that
cool--ok--now leave me alone before I ravage e-bay looking
for something that tight.

Paintjobs are the best thing about NJS frames. Seriously. The second best thing are the decals/logos (exception being Kiyo, the logo is better than any paintjob, except a landshark). Take those two things away and it's just another track frame.
Keep as is, and build it up however you want (kashimax saddles are for suckers).
