http://www.sixsixone.com/Catalog_661...f-ae90a601027a i think they are pretty damm cool, goes anyone know of any sick SPD shoes that you can walk'n in that i wouldnt have to do the duck walk in, in essence shoes that i could wear to school and not have to change, i only walk from class to class, Red and black to be sure, it seems thats where my whole bike setup is going, soon the have red saddle with matching bar tape, why not shoes? maybe a chain when i need a new one I would rock these and go back to clipless (which I haven't touched in years) if they actually supported a cleat. The only thing is that they are velcro so you don't have to worry bout a shoelace snagging. And, hell, they are the color my bike already is. So why the hell not. Actually, no, sticking with my Air Force Ones. "So I can get stomping in my AIR FORCE ONES" |

I put mine in this hanging basket thing above my kitchen counter http://www.nexternal.com/whitewhale/images/basket.jpg pretty sweet right? the best part, not just for bananas. I can throw what ever kinda fruit I want to up there. Hell, I even put a bag of potato chips up in that bad boy once. |

I have seen the banana hanger at walmart for very cheap. seems like a pretty good investment to keep those bananas off the counter

On a side note, I recently bought some collapsible measuring cups. I hang them on the wall and they take up like no space at all. Highly recommended. |

The main problem with the banana "tree" is that, as any discerning banana eater knows, bananas are only at thier peak for a day or two. Therefore in order to have perfect bananas for a week or even longer one has to pick them individually or in pairs off bunches of varying ripeness. This of course makes a "tree" type storage solution completely useless.

another thing to note. bananas will hasten the ripening of other nearby fruits, so if you store them with other fruits, your bananas are going to make them not last as long.

Love those things. I also love the idea of a pegboard in the kitchen. If only I were single.
I'm also thinking about ripping off the bicycle wheel pot rack that readymade has a design for. It looks pretty rad and would save a bunch of space. |
I didnt want to be the first to say it but,
This thread has just gone downright bananas.. |

There are three separate baskets. I am a firm advocate for the segregation of fruit. It just ain't natural for different fruits to be mixing with each other like that. Gawd made 'em dif'rnt fer a reason. |
if those shoes are stiff enough to provide riding support and comfortable for everything else, and if the toebox and straps are durable enough, I will rock them.
I don't give a **** what's pictured on the back. but probably not for 80 bucks. thanks for the find. |
If your bananas get too mushy, make a smoothie. Same goes with your other fruit.
