Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I am officially in love with that IF. I'm going to start saving all my money to get one of those. That is just.... incredible. I don't even know what to say. Those Townsends are sexy too.

Independent Fabrication Bikes make me weak in the knees. Who has a picture of that tandem that an IF employee made for her fiancee (or did he make it for her) as a wedding present? Best wedding present ever.

Edit: My bad. That was a Seven employee. The thread is here. Best wedding present evar.

while i think the binder bolt is a little awkward, the threadless stem-***-spacer on that cream pereira is a really logical design. almost as clean as a threaded, without sacrificing adjustability like the integrated vanilla stem/bars (which are impossibly clean but one piece).

BTW. the first one on your list (which incidentally is what's written on the fork) is the only one that's grammatically incorrect. Well, the 4th one is very questionable as well. The semicolon is normally used to separate related sentences, but there the two sentences aren't related.

No one knows! Some guy named "Mike V" posted it, and there was much speculation that it was legendary

That is not mike v's house/bike/enzo/whatever. that is one pic of about 20 of some dude in japans house/car/bike/I buy things that are not for sale collection. I had the pics of the whole deal, I will see if I can find them. It was nuts, he had Land rovers, r. rovers, 360's, bentleys, crap I have never seen before, about 25-30 cars and all of them are black or sliver.

Ding ding ding. Think of the seconds you can save with a 7lb bike. Assuming it doesn't collapse under your weight.

No 7-lbs bike would be allowed in any UCI or USAC race, but there are plenty of non-sanctioned hill climb races were this bike would be great.

Although I'm fairly certain that this is more of a proof-of-concept bike than anything designed for regular use, racing or otherwise.

Here are more pictures of the Crumpton fixed gear. I'm sure this is the most expensive bike in this thread.
