$2000+ fixed gear photos

I'm in the mood for bike p0rn. What's your favorite high-dollar bike?

Disclaimer: don't get all commie on me and talk about how a $500 fixed gear is just as fast as a super-luxe bike. I know: it's all about the engine, blah blah blah. Sometimes it's just nice to see pretty things. I appreciate bikes from all pedigrees, but I'd like to recognize the crème de la crème of the fixed gear variety.

I think this Rapha should be over $2K.

so they named a track bike after a bird that is known for....coasting?

but it sure is snazzy.

I love this BMC Track. "Big balla status."

Condor's are excellent frames, and were always the premium track frame for any london courier (innit?).

Then there were metoo's by FORT, which like the Terminator were very hard to kill.

I suppose the creme' d'la creme would be (at least in performance terms)

7.2lb(!) Crumpton. Lightest bike in the world? Probably over $20K.

Why no top tube pads on these bikes?

eskachig 08-16-07 11:29 PM

That Rapha is mindblowing.

I always love seeing super light carbon track frames and wheels with steel track bars. My nitto track bars feel like they weigh more than my straight bars and bullhorns combined.

fix: 08-17-07 12:25 AM

that top tube protector on the bridgestone looks so bad

SkyeC 08-17-07 12:26 AM

ah... to ride that rapha condor w/ my rapha gear... i can only dream.

jodypolk 08-17-07 01:24 AM

Most carbon track frames aren't super light. BTs weigh a ****ing ton.

All I need to do is by a $600-$700 frame and I can post mine. Maybe in a year, but first I need my wheelset to finally show up.

The Moyers are beautiful, but they are all displayed as one JPEG containing at least 6 pictures. Fourth link is an Ira Ryan.

Avoid browsing for too many photos of them ... when those bikes crash that's normally where the frame set sheers in half.

Surferbruce 08-17-07 08:27 AM

what the story with that tommasini? is it cf? so pretty

Tangsooyuk 08-17-07 08:58 AM

All these bikes are amazing! Here is my addition (sorry about the busy background).
