I stopped using mine on a daily basis, but that's because it was cramping my left shoulder (actually the muscle that runs from my shoulder blade to my neck). Although I don't think it was because of this particular bag. I also cramped from another messenger bag, and had to switch to a double strap backpack.

I still use it to get groceries though. I have the large and it holds quite a bit. I heard about the strap wearing out. Mine is just starting to show some wear, but like I said I don't use it that often.

i use mine nearly daily for school still and its held up wonderfully although as stated many times over the small is a bit too small sometimes and the strap leaves something to be desired. that said im still very glad i got it.

I've had a large for ~1 year and it's been great. plenty of room for groceries and it's an easy bag to pack for travel. haven't had any trouble with the straps but i can imagine it happening. i use it 3-4 times a week with a pretty light load and it hasn't caused any back troubles. i'd buy again if i was in need of something like it. i could never justify droppin a bill on something like this. $40-50 was just right.

I still use my large quite a bit. It's the perfect size for a case of beer. The strap is starting to look a little haggard but I'm gonna replace it with some seat belt webbing. The only modification I made was to add a Duraflex Beastie Dee to make loosening the strap easier. Overall I'm very happy with the bag.

Been using mine daily since I received it in December or so and it's still in great shape. Very happy with the purchase. It's my every day stuff sac and grocery getter. I sometimes wish that strap adjustment was a bit easier, bit it's a minor gripe.

Also, the velcro has goten quite fuzzy and doesn't stick as well as it used to so I have to use the straps when anything important is in there.

Just pulled the last one of these out of the bottom of a box. It's a large. I was going to save it for myself, anyone want it? $60, still brand new.

How is the waterproofing on this?

As good as the chrome bags from what I can tell. My girlfriend had a beer bust open inside one and didn't notice until she got home and found a puddle inside. :-)

love the fact you've got your daughter in the bag! haha anyway, i have the chrome metropolis (bought a few yrs ago, never knew about the backside)... found the secret pocket after reading this thread.... why on earth would they put it on the bottom?
