or else drag them live thru the alleys and streets until there is nothing left but a bloody lump. phff they did something very similar in the Roman era for adultery. You think it stopped adultery? phff They also chopped off your man, you think that stopped it? phff bike thieves, car thieves, and thieves in general will keep doing it...Part of life my friend. |
While I was out and about in Portland tonight (for the first time in ages), I saw so many improperly locked bikes, but I never thought to steal anything, not once!
Also, I like the construction barricades next to the Roseland that say "Do not park, lean, or lock bikes up to the barricade," but, when you look at the barricade, there are about fifty (50) bikes locked up to it. :p |
Your mind works like a dick, dick.

Everything is fine here, everyone is fine here.
All in all though -- maybe leave a friendly note, but I'd even think carefully about my motivations before I did that. $0.02, rs |

Today I was walking around and noticed free wheel after free wheel. Saw 4-5 unlocked QR front wheels, some of them were pretty nice (Mavic Aksium!). Anyway, I spent about 20 minutes debating whether or not to steal them to make a point to their owners. I ended up not, but I did leave a mean note in their spokes. Tomorrow if they're still unlocked should I do the deed?

Id like to thank everyone for their support and encouragement thru the tough times. Especially dutret for his constant tutoring and selfless help. Mostly for all the late night phone calls when i really needed a push to get over the hump. Also, id like to thanks my family and my bike for putting up with all my crap and crooked ass skids into parked cars. I know there's someone im leaving out or would...so, ill just end it here. Thanks you all! |
A couple of years ago, I was at a parents orientation for my son's new school. A parent stood up and said to the principal, "my son said that he doesn't need to lock his bike at school." Now some of us thought this was pretty funny until the principal said, "why would he lock it?, no bike has ever been stolen." Even now, a few years later, no bike is locked at the school, and none have been stolen. So, would you like to know where this is so you can go there and teach the whole school a lesson?

First the skid salute and now this. Time to hang it up greenhorn.
I think I'll stab some holes in your tires to teach you a lesson that you should carry a patch kit and a pump. Let me know where you lock your bike up. |

Hey, I once stole a bike that wasn't locked up properly to prove a point.
Of course, it was my bike, and the guy who borrowed it wasn't following my locking instructions. It was funny seeing his face when I asked how my bike was doing, and if I could "check something" on it. |

but that doesn't apply to the situation at hand, where the wheel was likely to be stolen, and not by me, by someone who would want to sell it for cash. I knew it would be stolen, for cash !!LOL11!!!!!eleventy111!!! you fail |
