Stupid bike dreams

I had a dream last night/this morning that my sister had a carbon LOOK track bike...with a carbon disc and tri-spoke. And she didn't ever ride it. Which made sense, because I don't think she's touched a bike since she was 10.

Any stupider dreams?

Bikes: A whole bunch o' bikes.

I had one today(working nights) in which I was haveing lunch with Stephen King, his wife, Sam Peckinpah(sp?), Simon and Garfunkel and someone else whom I can't remember right now(I think it was Norman Jewison). We were conversing about track bikes and the like when Tom Waits showed up. I got all excited like a little girl and thats when I woke up and went "WTF?".

Strangest dream for a while.

The other night I had a dream wherein I wrecked an awesome pursuit frame, which makes sense because I think they are hard to ride.

Dude, that's a way better dream.

I did that 2 or 3 nights ago, except for some reason I "slammed my head into the concrete." Apparently I'd been watching too many urban FR crash vids before bed. I was scared as hell when I woke up that I had a concussion, for about 5 seconds :

i fell asleep with the television on last night. this is a sure fire way for me to have wacky dreams.
i dreamt that my girl was on the firm trying to make her butt smaller. i then decided to ride to where they were filming but my back wheel turned to mush for some reason..like laffy taffy, just started to melt.

i was amazed.

p.s. there was an infomercial for the firm on the tele when i woke.

********, right? The confluence of event that would lead me to have lunch with any of these folks, let alone all of them at one time and the chance that they even know about track bikes, let alone want to converse about them is unlikely in the extreme. Robbin Williams I could understand, but these folks, nah. Thats what I love about dreams. The mind kinda just takes what ever is floating aorund in your head and mashes it all together.

The best part was Tom Waits just showing up. It was an awesome surprise in an awesome dream.

Bikes: Motobecane Jury

The night after a partyride, I had a very long and drawn out dream involving riding my bike around while dressed like a pimp, negotiating public transit during a flood, flat tire woes, etc.

that was strangely satisfying.

I had a dream last night in which I was riding around a corner and was about to clip a pedal on the curb.
I woke up with my legs flailing and a crazy adrenaline rush.

Last weird bike dream I had, I was down a downhill I'm familiar with, going unnaturally fast. Much too fast for the last curve before the skating rink. Hit the snowbank going ~75kph, was about to take an ~5m dive onto hardpack headfirst, but popped back at the beginnning of the downhill just before impact. Then I started to go down again but flew away and turned around instead. Amazing view of the town that was, reached ~100meters in the air before I woke up. Good times.

a few nights ago, I had this dream..no it was a nightmare...that some people (not sure exactly who...its all sort of vague in the typical dream-like sense) borrowed all my bikes for a ride and when I later inspected the bikes, all the hubs had been stripped, the chains were broken, and the chainstays were all broken off the BB shells.

Last night I had a dream that I rode my bike through the doors of a saloon and ordered a drink. I think I then interrogated the patrons as to who's cellphone number something was. It was a very very odd dream, especially since I very much remember not getting off the bike for the entire time.

Heh. Happens to me lots. I crash in my sleep all the time, or else wake up just before it happens, and find myself thrashing about. Usually I have to apologize to the missus...
