How serious are you about commuting? What is your commute like? If the answers to those questions are "very" and "over 5 miles" consider finding something with rack and fender mounts. Not to be a square, but I'm a bit surprised that someone would recommend track geometry for someone who wants to do some commuting. Road/CX geometry makes much more sense for commuting.

i have two bikes for a reason. there is nothing better than riding a bike with full fenders when it's raining.
especially in the summer.
but anyways.

The Angus and the Mark V aren't the same geometry. Here's the stats https://irofixedgear.com/index.asp?Pa...on=Custom&ID=4.
I just got a Mark V and love it so far, granted it's my first fixed gear, and my first bike in a few years now. I went with the Mark V over the Jamie Roy or the Angus because of the higher BB. No pedal strike is a good thing.

53cm 49 cm 54 cm 72.0 73.0 10 cm 95.7 cm 5 cm 39.1 cm 30"
now: which one is from the angus, and which one is from the Mark V?

My bad. I thought they were similar, but I thought the BB was lower on the angus. I didn't look at the angus too closely when I ordered cause I don't like the look of threadless, so I was picking between the jamie roy and the mark v.

I like the Pista.
If buying a complete bike, today, I'd take a good look at the Surly Steamroller Complete, mostly because it will take fat tires and real fenders for commuting in the winter.
My studded Nokians will fit on a Steamroller.

Bikes: , Jury Bike, Moto Outcast 29, Spicer standard track frame and spicer custom steel sprint frame.
brans jamis sputnik, kona paddy wagon, giant bowery,
I would snatch up the jamis in a heart beat if I was in the market for a stock built bike it looks sharp is well equipped and has builtin chain tugs the frame I think is some high end reynolds tubing too
