yeah. i'd say just get a nice road helmet. whether it's giro, bell, limar, etc. find the one that fits you best. no helmet is going to look "cool", and no helmet is going to look "undorky", or "unmushroomy", just wear one because that's the only thing other people are going to care about. not how you look. you'll just look like someone smart. good luck, have fun.
