I thought the movie was cool, but being the overly harsh critic I am I think there was room for improvement. That is not to say I don't appreciate the work that went into shooting the film and the skill of the riders (both beyond my capacity). Like someone said, girls in the movie definitely would have been a nice touch. Regardless of anything I just said, I would still recommend the movie to anyone.

the attraction of this movie, at least for me, had nothing to do with the sex of the riders. the cinematography was great, the music was good, the riding was thrilling. so, i don't see why people are *****ing that there are not women in the movie. do you think they discriminated or something, during their casting tryouts? if so, give me a break. frankly, i didn't even notice that there were only guys in it, until it was pointed out.

FYI: On the LP and in the soundtrack listing, it's titled "Friends and Family".

Women didnt go thru all that in the 60s just to be left out of the MASH movie!!
jk lol
Why put chicks in if they didnt have any that were good riders? There are plenty out there but maybe they didnt know any at the time.
These arent ignorant guys from Idaho or something were talking about here. Theyre aware.
edit: if someone is from Idaho, no offense.
