Arrived today. ****ing awesome! Some cool and stylish tricks, but mostly ****ing gnar footage of SF hills and intersection bombing. Incredible. The book is beautiful and the extra footage is great. Well done to all concerned!

It takes on a WHOLE new feeling when you've ridden the same roads.

It's totally true, I went to the premier before I had moved to the city, watching it on DVD after living in the city for a while, completely different viewing experience.

mine didn't come so I flew to San francisco and bought one.

The bonus features were AWESOME. For me it was because I'd already seen the film and the structure of it is very, well, structured. Not saying it's bad, but it makes the second viewing a little less awe-inspiring.

mike and gabes parts were fantastic.

andy's part is my favorite though, hands down.

hola... didn't read this whole thread, but i just thought i'd say that, yeah, i just ordered the dvd. if it's entertaining or (gasp!), "art", then, yeah, it's more than worth the money. and even if it's just so-so, well, i do, after all, regularly spend that at a pub so who cares...

His mother and father didn't love each other, but procreated anyway. After a childhood which was plagued by insufficient education and a lack of attention, the guy became a construction worker. That scene was shot 40 years after these events.
