Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: Breezer Uptown 8, U frame

It's really no skin off my nose one way or another. I've learned a lot about FG from the Women's Forum.

Bikes: 8 bikes - one for each day of the week!

If nothing else, you guys should be grateful that Donna's not KB.

I'm just sayin'...

Please, I dare you to go into the Small Talk forum there. We could probably make a pretty amusing thread about all the ridiculous posting that goes on over there. I'm so glad BF has replaced PBN as my homepage.

That said I'm really surprised at how many people here are familiar with that ****hole.

I'm grateful that I'm not KB. I'd have a perpetual headache, I'm sure.

WE should be grateful? What do you mean? That we should not have fun, or that we should behave ourselves, or else the great privilege of posting in bikeforums.net will be withdrawn?

This is not directed to you personally, but I did notice this kind of attitude creeping up from BF mods: the feeling that we, the users of bikeforums, are here for bikeforums. Let me remind you that bikeforums.net would be NOTHING without us, the puny little insignificant users. It's BF that needs US, not the other way around, remember! I can decide to never read or post in BF ever again, and will do fine. But if all BF users turned the back to BF, this site would go to sh*t.

Just sayin'
