Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? yeah. My bmx has a 22 inch top tube: the longest for that type. It handles like a mtb compared to the other bmx bikes. That's why I like it.

I'm definitely checking goodwill more often.

I got a vintage huffy road bike that definitely needs some work but it weighs way too much to be worth converting. I also don't trust the frame. But it is too nice to throw out.

I am not sure what I am going to do with it, but I will tell you when it is up for grabs if you want it.

agreed.

Being a total geek when I come across anything that involves engineering, math, and bikes (along with literature, college football, and computers, but those help little) I started drawing up the only way a tall bike and condos can coexist. I will put them up tomorrow when I can get to a scanner.

It is painful to see beautiful bikes succumb to this cruel world like that fixie on central which got forgotten about and stripped. I feel bad because I couldn't tell anyone because my internet went down.

That's why I share my room with my bike.

yea its not like it would hurt them if a couple of bikes were taken out.

Where is the dump, anyway?

I thought they only had compost judging by the smell. I didn't know I was riding past a gold mine twice a day!

Why not get them when nobody is around. If there were dogs, I'd hear them when I zip by at 5am. The best time would be at around 2. You could get in through canterbury's driveway.

I have never been inside.

Why not bribe them for the bikes, then. Underpaid city workers are definitely in need of the money.

judging by what's running through it, I would say that's a landfill, though the city would probably be busy making that obvious and brag.

probably just a deterrent against of the ever-growing threat of people who would reincarnate junk than watch it get destroyed.

I am more of a builder than a destroyer, unless I must destroy to build but I prefer to be resourceful. Always have been.

I know that's a landfill by the methane pumps to keep it from exploding. That's where the model airfield is and where they're moving st pete bmx!

I would definitely be expecting a decent trail there.

I figured out how to get there by bike. And watched them fly planes for awhile. Pretty much as far north as you can get east of us19

I'll do some research on the landfill.

Try searching "pinellas county gis viewer"

that thing tells everything.

Well, I think I am going to try and see if I can actually fight the insomnia and get some rest.

I will put up my beautifully done sketches when I get on later today.
