Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I don't have the answer to your question but toe overlap is such a non-issue it's not worth worrying over. Unless you never ride faster than 5mph.

It's only an issue when you start riding the bike at first. After a few hours, you get used to it.

I've got the 58cm - there is some toe overlap, but as the others have already mentioned it is really a non-issue 99% of the time. I think I felt my foot contact the front tire once, and that was at very slow (approaching trackstand) speed.

If you're interested I can try to take some pics tonight after work.

i have a 54 and there is a little toe overlap. no big deal though, and like everyone said, it's only an issue at very low speeds.

I switched over to these as soon as i got my Kilo TT and i plan on doing the same when I receive the Windsor. Can't go wrong with formula hubs, DT spokes, and Mavic rims.

my windsor has low flange quandos, but maybe the new ones have formulas. that would be a big improvement.

slight toe overlap is kind of fun actually. when ur going so slow and u hit ur foot ur like "Hey i just got toe overlap" but nothing really happens.

hello again KFL- I'd go with a 56. Is there a shop in town that sells them? The best way to know for sure what size to get is to go ride a couple different sizes. But if you are going through BD I would go with a 56. Others agree?

but the standover is like 757 or some huge number. Do you think the 54cm might be too small for me? Cause my current bike, has a stand over of like 30 cm. I ride a 56cm Felt Z 90

Wow, my Windsor is 61cm (measures 58 ctc) & I even have 175mm Sugino cranks with no toe overlap. I wish I had some.

FWIW the stock Windsor hubs are Formulas, better than the stock Kilo hubs.
