Well then I guess it doesn't matter what color they are because I'll have to sand that **** off and repaint.

if you have ideas on the colors that would be nice on the Platinum OX Pro VersionI would love to hear those
White and red would work too. |
Snagged this from the FGSS picture thread. Just imagine if this was a BD bike!!!!

Yes

I still think CF would be great, as I can't think of a CF track frame that goes for under 2k F/F. Market differentation is a key point. You can get steel frames from many different sources, but a budget CF or Ti frame would be wonderful. I already have 4 steel 700c bikes (2 track and 2 road). I would love a different kind of track frame.

I for one would be stoked to sell off my KHS for a carbon/Ti/853/OX BD frame. Carbon would be sweet if the price was right, the roadies would be in shock if they ever picked up my bike!

Black with white or yellow decals. Is FLAT black possible? Gloss can be cheesy sometimes....
White and red would work too. I have another new track bike 2009 Dawes SST in matt black on the way -- new one has more tire room and bull horns fixed or FW with brakes - $299 - be in this summer For OX frame - I can easily do matt black or matt silver or matt blue a nice orange with white declas looks nice too -- i think |
wow, any pics of that dawes?
oh snap, matte blue ox??? I like the orange idea, but isnt the orange motobecane (which i ride and like) enough? i mean, you know, we like new shiney things. |

I heart those frames. Never had one, but I still like 'em.
|
affinity sells the same maxway/khs/taiwan frames, but i'd rather buy from BD!!
|
Fuschia and silver.
http://velospace.org/files/IMG_7492.jpg Navy and gold would be cool, too. It would be cool if you made an affordable velodrome-capable Al/carbon fork bike with good components. I think a well-spec'd complete bike in the $600-$800 range would sell enormously when put side-by-side with Langsters, etc. Something like the Pista Concept level parts for cheaper would be great. I would consider going in for a Ti track frame if the price was right. AND, it would really be great if things were made easier for Canadians to buy. I was ready to pull the plug on a Kilo TT a couple of weeks ago but it got too complicated and I went for a bike from my LBS for twice the price. I find it very unfortunate the deal didn't work out. |

YES, it would be great I wish credit card companies made it easier and that Canadian customs made it more clear cut that would be great |
I've heard rumors that canadian customs is going to get a little more relaxed on importing complete bikes since the legislation which placed ridiculous duties on them is expiring soon.
What's the issue with credit cards? Is there a way around this so that I can order and worry about the customs myself? |

You could try wiring the money to them. If you email them they'll tell you how to go about it. I wish you luck. Please let me know how it goes. How do other online retailers manage to accept Canadian credit cards without issues? |
I'm gonna wait until these upgraded options are available but I'll keep you posted once I give it a try. If worse comes to worse I might just try and get a few people in on the deal since it'll get expensive pretty quick finding a car and driving down to NY.

so is the carbon thing all talk or were you seriously going to consider stocking something like that? pista concept-like (al+carbon fork) frame maybe?
