There are a slew of kids/townies/even several adults who ride fixed in blacksburg. Go to the bike co-op, ask at east coasters, hit up a coffee shop.....lots of us ride fixed at all levels of experience. The "movement" if you will, has been here for a number of years. A few conversion rigs were done up over a decade ago. I try to ride the trails around the Pandapas pond area 3-4 days a week year-round on my mtb fixie conversion, with one or more fixed trail riders. There also are road race/rides that happen a few times a month.

Road, trail, commuting, casual recreation rides......they happen more often in groups than not at all.

That's why I'm replacing my BB. I bought the Sugino RDs, not realizing the BB was ISIS and not JIS.
It's only a 103mm though.

I have class till 915 but I really wanna ride, I want this thread to actually serve some purpose heh. So in short a ride any time after 920 is good for me.

No! I need those cranks, quite badly. I stripped out my non-drive side yesterday and need an isis drive crank.

I have some vintage cranks that I took off my frame when I got it from sage if anybody needs them for cheap. They are square taper and they have an odd bcd, but they have a 40T ring on them. Im going to ride tonight with the group at the church if anybody is interested.

Pedalphiles used to ride starting from the Cathedral every Tuesday, don't know if they're still doing it though.
