Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Mine back in the summer. Setup is a little different now, handlebar tape for starters, different stem and a brake, since I'm doing more long distance stuff with it. I graduated in May so I haven't been to campus either recently or frequently. It's one of the IRO Group Purchases.

I think it was 130 or 140 mm. Too long for my arms, but it looked good. It would cause a weird stitch in my back right below my right shoulder even on the shortest of rides. Fortunately a shorter stem cured that.

The only one I went on, we went to UofR and back. So that was probably 15 miles? We started out with a lot of people, seemed like it was close to 60-70 people, but probably only 25-30 did the whole ride.

UR and back is much shorter than 15 miles. Compass to 3 Chopt by way of Grove and back is only 8 miles. The compass to Boulevard is only 1 1/4 miles.

Since my bike really isn't that memorable, and since most of you seem to be in Rhoads/Brandt, I'm the kid with the neon orange chrome bag.

You think NN is bad, try living in Williamsburg.
Everyone drives like an *******. It's also incredibly ****ing boring. There are a lot of cyclists though.

I've seen you walk past the commons. Must have been on a MWF because those are the days I'm there, around 1-2pm.

It's orange with red, right?

Nope. Orange with white. I'm hardly ever in the commons...only when I'm getting Chick-fil-a.
I'm an art kid, so I'm down at the Bowe Street parking deck most days.

Sadly. I'm glad this semester's almost over. I have my two easy studio classes next semester.
And I get my Kilo for Christmas!
