I use my Adidas Sambas for everyday wear. Work, cycling, pretty much my only pair of shoes now.

I have them on right now. Just got back from the gym, which I ride my bike to. They're good for doing squats/calve raises too.

The spot that I used to play upgraded to that goofy ass stuff that's like a combination of artificial turf and pubes. I ended up getting a pair of Mundial Turfs, but yeah. Aside from that, Samba K's own.

qft. the original tuscanys were so fresh. took my mind off not being able to find reissue titans in my size. i played indoor and trained in sambas and Ks for 10 years or so because by the end of the off-season they were worn out to the point where they became street shoes, and i got another pair for play. since i stopped playing, the pair i have is real nasty looking but still around.

Sambas are ugly IMHO.

My favorite riding sneakers are Adidas Italy, they're got that nice narrow shape, kinda thin soles etc.

Bikes: Guerciotti Pista-Giant Carbon-Bridgestone300- Batavus Type Champion Road Bike, Specialized Hardrock Commuter, On-One The Gimp (SS Rigid MTB/hit by a truck)- Raleigh Sports 3-speed,Gatsby Scorcher, comming soon...The Penny Farthing Highwheel!

I have the suede ones from early 90's Copa...green (!), gift from my baby sister. Cherished. Wore them, Ted-Shredding, at my first crit mass on a 24" downhill bike with full suspension and no brakes.*

The Sambas? Didn't even wear out the heel. I don't know who sewed those things...that particular run of doublestiched suede with reinforcements, like cleats.

The sambas...I still got 'em. They haven't even needed repair, even after Ted -Shreddin' it.

The swirly patterns the concrete burned into the heels looks too neat to replace anyway.

*(24" full susp w/ no brakes...hell no I wasn't cool! And some of you guys think you're noobs? I was a NOOB. I knew nothing about bikes other than "that looks cool". And I still don't know much more than that except how to ride the hell out of one.)
