fixed gear shops in detroit
I've been searching the threads, but can't seem to find anything (I just suck at searching I guess).
Anyhow, anyone know of any good spots in or around Detroit that have a decent selection of track/fixed gear frames and parts? My entire life got broken into and stolen including my skate, sneakers, and bike. I'm bummed.
any help is sincerely appreciated
Jeah!

Hard to find a good shop in our area that stocks alot of frames/bikes on the floor.
Cycle To Fitness in Livonia is my favorite. Its a small shop that only stocks Bianchi, but the owner can get anything in and is really knowledgable about any type of bike. Awsome customer service.
Great Lakes Cycle in Ann Arbor isnt bad either. Its alot bigger with a couple brands of bikes.

The only things you will probably find in this area is maybe some off the shelf fixed gears (Pista, Langster, Madison, Sanchez, Bowery, Rush Hour, etc.) at a few shops. They probably won't have more than one or two in stock at most. I can only comment on the AA shops as I go to them the most. Great Lakes carries the Swobo Sanchez, Cannondale (Capo?), Felt, and Giant. I remember seeing a Sanchez and a Bowery I think. Ann Arbor Cyclery has a Raleigh Rush Hour, One Way, and Bowery on the floor. Two Wheel Tango has a number of the city edition Langsters at the Jackson RD. store.
I doubt any store has a track frame/fork in stock except maybe a Steamroller or a Pake. But, all of them could order you something through QBP, BTI, etc.
