I guess this point makes sense. American football is the reason our soccer games don't sell out. |
If soccer players in America made what players in the NFL or NBA made, colleges would become soccer factories, cranking out soccer players left and right.

American football and everything that surrounds it is hilariously stupid.
Thats the reason most of the planet literally laughs at it. Of course the average meatball fan of it is typically oblivious to that fact. Theyre also usually oblivious to other things too. ie: common sense, weight management and breathing through the nose. |

Even with soccer relegated to a third-tier sport in this country,
America is still one of the most dominant soccer countries at the international competitive level. In any case, they are not "one of the most dominant..." by any stretch of the imagination. Only Brasil, Germany, Argentina, Italy, France and maybe England on a good day have earned this rep... unless you're talking about women's football. :D |

I'm gonna have to disagree with you here on this one, for one, most of the planet does have a good deal of respect for American football, they just don't give a ****, but anyone can see how great of athletes these guys are, i cant think of any other sport that compares to the level of athleticism thats present in the nfl, granted, its not everybody's favorite sport but.. I'm not even going to try and stick up for football fans |
ps: pics?

as once said by flogging molly.
