Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Luckily risers aren't likely to get scratched. Mount and cut them then mask, prime, paint and gloss. Install grips. White risers have you.

edit: you only need to mount first if you're quill, non-open face stem. Because they'd get scratched to **** installing them, obviously. With open-face you can obviously paint then install.

Unless you absolutely need to have a high-end bar or an NJS stamp you'll just be painting over just look at every bike shop or a co-op. You'll almost definitely find something. Really wide bars take 30 seconds to chop with a hacksaw.

I found new "ACTION" bars for $8 before.

You could throw that stem at someone and kill them.

You can get them at Mr. Bulky's*. Don't even bother looking for them at a real bike shop.

*Does Mr. Bulky's even exist anymore?

Bikes: Univega Gran Premio, Custom MTB/SS/Commuter, Vintage Miele Fixie under construction

they look like customized pista concepts, make sure to get the 31.8 (oversized) bars, look great and seem stiffer to me.
