If I were you I would use cut vinyl for the graphic. Any sign shop should be able to produce it, and it shouldnt cost an arm and a leg.

Is it adhesive or is there some glue that wouldn't leave residue if I were to later remove it? And do you think it'd be able to conform to the radius of the lenticular wheel? I don't have much experience with vinyl.Originally Posted by akaio

EDIT: Oh, is this the stuff they use for shop lettering on windows and logos on company cars? That would actually work perfectly.. although if I wanted to take it off I probably couldn't reapply it.. but I probably couldn't do that with contact paper either, I'd just assume it would hold its shape better because contact paper is fibrous not stretchy. Good suggestion man.. I'll look into it!

Stop voting for ******, I'm an upstanding citizen.
The wagon wheel is pretty clever, good work!
And I repeat: ****** is NOT an option.

Okay...I can't imagine filling the holes to add more than 1/32 of an ounce. What about scott-lite? It'll make your design fun and safe. Comes in several colors. try using crepe tape. It's really fun, thin, bendable tape. It's used to create "sketches" in auto design. Also pinstiping tape, which can be bought at autoparts stores would work, which also comes in relflective varieties I hear.
Or just get vinyl decals cut.
