Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I think the OP has run off. Which leads me to believe that...

A. His mind was exploded with knowledge
B. He didn't really want to hang out on the internets
C. He is enjoying his new found brakeless freedoms
D. It was too late, and his cog slipped, leading to extravagant failure, resulting in the statement "Dang! These K-Fed tickets aren't refundable?"

This was fun really and I do think the problem is behind me. I think I'll start feeding myself to the sharks more often. You guys are a ball of fun..... no really. Thanks again to the people who did help. The hill mash with no back pedal seemed to be the trick. If I'm a ******bag then I guess I'll take my ball and go home, because I certainly don't want to stay, put up a fight, waste my time.....F-it I'm going riding......brakeless and happy.

As it turns out, this ******bag loser got a big kick out of this thread and learned a thing or two. I don't think you can ask for more. I do think I'll stay after all. I'm surprised nobody shot back that I " was a tool " after the every tool in the book comment. Come on people, if you're gonna take shots, let's see some good ones.

Yes. That.
