I always needed orthotics and my knees were able to crack on command. ever since i've started riding fixed, they've felt stronger, don't crack at all, and they seem to hold up to a lot more than i could put them up to before. |

A lot of people will incorrectly use saddle fore/aft to adjust cockpit length. Saddle fore/aft should be adjusted to get your knee over the pedal spindle at the three o'clock position.
