My first build. Kilo TT.
Not finished yet though.. Didn't turn out the way I want aesthetically, but I'm sure it rides nice. Any suggestions? I could be way off, but is that an IRO crankset? Tom |
Did Dr. Deltron do that face?

Well done. I may do the same thing. I've had the threaded one for 4 years now and it's been great.

that Trek conversion is a damn fine bicycle!!!!

Dig the white somas. I'm still trying to decide on a frame for my new build, and the rush is high up on the list.

my trek 620 conversion.
Please forgive the terrible picture. I don't own a digital camera besides the one on my phone. :(
it is a 1982 trek 620 fixed gear conversion, built on a budget, because i am a broke college student, graduating in a week. it is actually a really small frame, hence the 130mm stem and significant amount of seat post. The frame was stupid cheap, and already rattle canned blue like this when i got it, so i decided to leave it. I built it as cheap as i could buying the new parts when i had to, but getting a lot of parts used and spending a bit extra money where it counts. the ratio is 43/16, because i live near a few hills. MKS GR9 pedals, MKS XL clips, Campagnolo nylon straps, 170mm bulletproof crank arms, surly cog, vuelta wheels (super cheap, price was right), kinesis road D fork...might be for a 650c wheel because the brake doesnt line up 100% with the machined part of the rim, saddle from my old bike, used bike shop seat post, etc. i would like to add a half link to the chain to move it back in the horizontal dropouts a bit, but its alright for now, and in securely. and i should definitely shorten the brake cable and cable housing. http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/9617/dsc00195lb0.jpg again, sorry for the garbage picture. |

The before pic was much better imo.
Please tell me that you haven't let her ride that thing as is... It definitely needs alot of finishing before it could be rideable. The seat and bars are the way she wants them, and if you saw her in biking shorts, you'd let her sit and hold on any way she wants. |

Looks good, but also surprisingly pedestrian for you. I expect lots of flash, and the fanciest thing I see in the King Cage.
