How does it ride? I'm hopefully going to be picking up a similar model but keeping it multi geared.

RobbieTunes 05-12-08 12:10 PM

Saved the OEM parts so I can resurrect it later if the owner doesn't like it.
The rear cassette wouldn't come off, even with LBS and a good vise, so I left it alone.

1. His he going to pay?
2. At least the frame looks structurally sound.
3. That fork is a survivor.

jacobpriest 05-12-08 06:14 PM

1. I told him dont worry about it. I was pissed, and it was kinda a mistake but whatever. I should say, he hit me with a bike, not a car...
2. yes.

I didn't want to start a whole new thread and I don't know where else to ask this, but does anyone know of convenient indoor space-saving bike racks? I've seen a set-up with a tall double-sided post that holds one bike above another but I wouldn't know where to buy one. Suggestions? Pics?

I bought the bike with the intention of getting S&S couplings put on it and using it as my travel bike. I ride it fixed but it is set up as fixed/free. I would like to switch to Phils in fixed or fixed-fixed with Deep Vs to match my road setup.

That is another thread, but there are tons on the market, and if I had my druthers, I'd get one that holds 4, 2 to a side, freestanding. Works in living areas and garages. You can get racks anywhere from Lowe's home improvement ($2 hooks to $5 wall mounts) to Harbor Freight ($10 overhead pulleys) to Target ($30 2-bike freestanding, some others) to Performance/Nashbar, and your LBS.

As far as "space-saving?" :lol::ol::lol::lol::roflmao2::roflmao2::roflmao2:
Wrong thread for that, I think. More space = More bikes.

Yes, Linda Hamilton in Terminator 2 was awesome, as was Sigourney Weaver in Alien(s).
Some of my favorite movies/women when growing up.
