Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Thanks walking disease, I'm definitely thinking about getting them. You think that 160 for a slightly used set is a good deal?

the concept already has a steep seat tube angle, zero setback post makes it too mcuh.

did he complain about the bike not fitting? why and more importantly how are you going to advise someone on the position of their saddle when you have no idea of their measurements? why are you trying to answer a question that was never asked? you just like hearing yourself type?

lots of people have bikes that don't fit properly and they don't complain. i'm just throwing an idea for him out there. he can try it or not but moving the seat back will probably be better for him. And yeah that bike probably wouldn't even make UCI regulation as far as setback goes.

what are you mad because i'm not joining in stroking each others penis' in here? ruining the mood for you or something?

i'm not mad. I just don't see why you would make an unnecessary comment like that when you've never seen the rider. it's like someone posting a picture of a pair of shoes and you replying with "you should've gotten size 12 instead of 11" without knowing how big the persons feet are.

you don't see why i made it?
i made it because if he decides to try it out and the bike fits him better then i will have helped him.
someone once asked me if i really needed a reach so short on my bike i thought it was good where it was. well i ended up moving to longer reach over a period of time and now my bikes have about 3-4cm more reach and it works better.
i maybe would've figured it out on my own but it happened sooner since that person mentioned it to me.
