Here's the Fuji Track I built up on saturday, it rides beautifully and is very pretty.
More pics here http://static.flickr.com/23/182229018_3b0bd42932_b.jpg http://static.flickr.com/62/182230047_071e6acc6b_b.jpg |
What bullhorns are those?
EDIT: The Fuji, that is... |
They are Profile Design time trial bars, I don't know the model though.
|
Thanks.

That Fuji track looks great, as does the "too small" red one, but the "uncomfortable" bareknuckle looks like something I would build, had I the cash. What size frame is that bareknuckle? I want a little one, too, in that color.

you cool kids and your bikes that are too small for you....you're silly!

the bareknuckle is a 48 i believe. latino's are tiny people so a tiny frame. well i was measured for the bike even though i ride a 50 on other bikes. then, the shop insisted on a stem that was 110 mm. i thought that was crazy. i wanted 90 mm since i'm not racing anywhere soon. my back hurts so much when i ride it. i need to have the seatpost up that high or i get cramps in my legs. but the length of the stem causes me to be so far from the handlebars. i don't really use the drops so i think i'm going to get bullhorns. it hurts me to look at bike on sunny days cause i want to ride, but i am way to uncomfortable on that damn thing.

sr20det - another amazing marinoni. if you come across anything in 58cm size, let me know! love those frames a whole, whole lot.
|
sr20det - Beauty. Nice to see some old school Campy/Cinelli parts accompanying that frame.
|
nice sr20det. that makes this only the third marinoni i've seen that sports the maple leaves instead of the circle-M. very nice. makes me want to bid on the nice tall marinoni road bike on ebay...
|
sr20 had a 58 marinoni
|
thanks for the compliments guys!
its going to take a while to build up cause I don't work at a shop anymore (no tools at home) and at the new job, I only get paid on a monthy basis :( I've scored the two Marinonis on www.canadiancyclist.com both were awesome deals. & the currency dealt there is CANADIAN! |
sr20det- personally, i think your marinoni ought to be left as period-correct. the frame looks very steep (and wonderfully so). it's one of the most pleasing track irons i've seen.
cheers |
just to toss in an opposing view...why would you want that old campy stuff when you could be riding the new campy stuff? it looks better too!
sorry..had to let it out..the old campy cranks make me limp |
