haha. that's one of my bikes. it's actually far more offensive in person with its acid yellow saddle, celeste wrap, orange king headset and pink candy pedals.

doesn't hold a torch to my newest bike though. i gotta take some pictures of these things--spread the migraine love.

red, what was that comment you made about the 3 of our bikes as we were trudging thru chinatown after my tires exploded? it echoes in my head and elicits a psychopathic giggle out of nowhere every-time i throw a leg over my top tube.

jonb 05-05-06 09:39 AM

mmmm monocogs. i had been watching the price of one at freewheel steadily drop until someone bought it, then i kicked myself for not buying it first. I wanted to put some old 24" skyway mags on it :(

I think it may have had something to do with the San Francisco treatment being alive and well in NYC, but I can't quite remember now.

i know. i have to photograph a few of my bikes. whenever i weigh riding vs. photography, riding always wins out. now that the days are a bit longer, it should be easier to mitigate that. i promise!!

I have finally ridden her

My Sannino, pursuit frame with a road fork, front brake installed and mostly Miche componentry. Campa brake, shimano levers(i took the saddle, bar and quill off my SS roadbike), shimano SPD pedals.

I'm looking for a quill with shorter pillar, or maybe and adapter for modern 1 1/8" stems.

I've finally gotten to ride it, spring just came around in Finland. It's lovely. Also had my first crash, in front of a peleton of roadies after sprinting past them :-P

trons 05-05-06 02:56 PM

do you have the original fork?

No, couldn't afford both forks at the time and I'm not brave enough to go brakeless from day 1. It's at the shop and i can (hopefully)get it and a sutiable, tube rim front wheel later.

hartsell 05-05-06 05:45 PM

gh-ap 05-05-06 08:02 PM
