I second that recommendation... having a front brake and knowing how to use it will make you a lot safer on the roads.

Update: (new stem, bars and chain)



Still working on postion and such, and i'm also going to get the bars powdercoated black in a couple of days. Not sure if I like it so low, but i'll see after a month of riding or so.

Yes, yes they do. Its not so bad. I just came back from a 20 mile ride and my back feels alright, but I don't know what it will do to me overtime haha.

when i ride at steep angles like that, i always find that my back is fine, but my neck hurts like hell from tipping my head up so i can see.
