Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Since Red Riding Hood posted her new budget-bike, I figured I should throw mine up there too. I just got her yesterday and put her together last night. I'm going parts shopping this weekend for pedals, bullhorns, brake lever...

The Madison comes complete with brakes, freewheel, and pedals with clips and straps, however I removed the parts that will be making their way to eBay in favor of better ones.

I'll take more/better pics as soon as I can. The prices range all over the place here and my LBS said they'll be $625 when available. I got mine for $365.
