thanks.
i'm running 42/17 or 19 now, on road, with rolling terrain.
42/20 would seem like a good compromise on the dirt.

When confused, one should always conjure up a funny bike. In this case, an off-road pursuit bike, with drops and a front 650 wheel.

Have you seen spinergys on a cross bike before...that **** is nuts. The last thing I want in a race is one of those blades piercing my lung.

killsurfcity 03-16-07 11:21 AM

thanks 128. that **** is going in the "bikes that rule" file on my desktop.
anyon know what tires those are? they'd be great for what i'm putting together right now.

What isn't so great about a "sporty and fashionable recreation group" which sports a Hollowtech II crankset, a disc-only 8 speed internally shifting hub, and hydraulic disc brakes? If every commuter in the world had this group, all war would end and God would fart a cloud of bliss across our pitiful planet.

They look like Tufo clincher tubulars, some tires that I've always been dying to try.

I agree.

However, the crank appears to be a 105.

Calfee Pista Roya
Syntace road bar

Cheeziest of the Cheeze!

Just got some road bars (i really missed my extra positions) and wrapped them up in some CUSH tape. stella azzurra eleganza is amazing. my wrapping job did not do it justice.

I didn't meant to look so serious in the third picture but that's how i get at 1 am.

I like your bike. That's what I call a "fixed gear road bike". In a good way!

br995 03-17-07 08:11 AM

holy crap! They make nerds candy bikes?!

Accident 03-17-07 08:49 AM

hahaha...last week when i was in NY looking for trackstar, since they'd moved shop, i was riding down the street and saw that bike in the window of a sneaker shop; the saddle looks hella uncomfortable though with its plastic only body.
