Does that Rob Roy seriously have an Alfine crank? I can't even get that **** straight from Shimano. What's the deal SF kids?!

Also, the Karate Monkey is hardly a cross bike...I have my Waterford to thank for that.

The main difference between the WTB dirt drops and cross bars is the large sweep and very short drop. They are good for climbing (when in the drops), but it sucks to have to always be on the hoods during descents and twisty sections. The flat part of the bar is almost useless considering I need to have access to the brakes almost all the time.

HEY! What happend to the black 3Rensho Track bike w/ Araya trispoke and Araya rear disc showcasing in the window???

Wotan 03-16-07 01:05 AM

I've never really gone for offroad bikes. Sure, I respect 'em and all. And I'm sure they're fun. But I've never been interested in owning/riding one..... Until now!!! I have spent this past hour at work alternating between the IRO site and that orange Rob Roy. Wow, it's such a sweet bike.

Not that I could afford it right now, but I don't believe anyone sells 'em in Australia. Luckily for me!!! The temptation might have been too much.

once again, "SF Treatment" for the win.

I really don't understand how that is the "SF Treatment." San
Franciscans hardly invented putting nice components on a bike.

hoping to. once the snow melts.
mild singletrack, jeep trails, and lots of dirt roads to ride here.

i've no experience with it yet - so i'll have to look at my gearing when i start riding dirt.
