Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I like Zipp wheels for many reasons. They are fast, they are durable, they are light and best of all, I have an OEM account with them so I get them way cheaper than retail shops. Its always nice to have a great friend that works there as well...

Now, why do all my bikes have Zipp? Well, when exhibiting at shows, I just "borrow" them and return them when the show ends. It gives a consistent look and feel that the bikes are "made for speed and competiton". Sure, I could bling out a bike with some Velocity's with color, but that doesnt say "fast" in my book, it says I care more about how a bike looks than rides...not that my bikes dont look good, but I just think they should look FAST when on display and perform when being ridden. Does that make sense?

DW! That bike is awesome and you look great in a kilt, big boy! I'll be in your neck of the woods (well, not really. I'll be in Houston) from April 7th-14th. We should get into some more heated political debates at the local brewhouse. I'm sure my views will get a much different reaction in Texas!

Derek! H-town is still a good 150 miles from me. Not saying I couldnt make it, but I would need to know a bit more on where to crash and such. I dont have many (read ANY) connections there. However, I do need to go down there and hit up a couple shops with my product...

take it easy and give me a heads up on the particulars.

When I "quit" BF about 4 or so months ago.
Noestaencasa means "not in the house". I might post again tomorrow, or I might not post again for months. Depends on if people intend on pi$$ing me off this time.

Brilliant Idea!!

I'm going to keep the beams in front just 'cause but adding the rear supports would get rid of the flex thats been bothering me. Dunno why I didn't think of that.
