Having seen Juvi out-do me in every sort of riding hands-down in person, I must say that I am his disciple of sorts. Say what you will about the man socially, but dude can ride the **** out of a bike.

No chain, cause all my geared chains are too narrow!!!!!! arg a weekend to wait till the lbs opens!!!!
I shaped some washers for the chain ring thing... it works. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...Image005-1.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...t/Image011.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...Image007-1.jpg |

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y20...0437Medium.jpg Here is my new project fixie. Its a Miele, I got it offa craigslist pretty cheap, but it didnt come with the original fork, but it was cheap. The guy I got it from had it painted at an auto body shop, which didnt look to bad, but the clear coat had ran really bad, so I sanded it and painted it flat black with flat clear. This will be my first fixed gear as my other bike is a single speed Univega. All I need are some wheels for this one and Im set. Anyone have any information on these bikes? Ive only seen one other Miele this old, its got an Italian threaded BB, some weird brazons for the rear derailleur, and cool rear brake bridge. I know it was made in Canada but I was wondering the year, Im guessing early 80's because of the brazons. |
Girlfriend's bike is (almost) done! The grips are garbage finds at the local co-op, they'll be replaced with something cushy, nice, and red.
http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ion/BAG001.jpg It's a 1982 Univega painted by a good friend of mine. Fork is some Cr-mo Unicrown dealy. 42x17. Silver profile risers. Ebay wheelset. http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ion/BAG003.jpg I'm so glad that we can finally ride around Philly together. |
