I didn't ask for opinions! Hoes!

But yeah, it's really not everybody's cup of tea. I quite like it, if only for it's utter old-skewl value. The frame was built, according to its owner, "back when all the guys from Soulcraft were still in California, before half of them moved to start Salsa," whereupon they would sell themselves out (slightly; I like Minnesota, and I still like Salsa) to Quality Bicycle Products. I like the disc brakes, personally. The rotors are absolutely rad, too.

The Puma Beginner's FG Guide says triangular-section rims are actually stronger, but, being that that is the most horrifying compilation of all things poser, evarrr, I don't completely believe it. Seems to me that additional bends would stiffen a rim, at least to an extent. I ride box section rims on all of my bikes. Plus, I think deep-sections rims look horrible on most bikes, the above of course being an exception.

i have the same on my bike and i have a question
are those stronger box rims more wide?
can you have 700x23 on those?

Yep. Needs some drop bars though.

The only thing wrong with that bike is that it needs to be matte black. Make it black and then it will bring on the apocalypse.

They'll track you down and pop a 9mm in you when you least expect it.

Deep section rims have a box section in them, as well as two tube like sections, overall there are three sections beside the tire grizzoove, so they tend to be stronger and stiffer than boxes at the expense of a bunch of weight.

That is quite an American comment (no offence intended at all). **** like that doesn't happen over here (at least it is extremely rare).

Just put no offence intended at the end of an opinion and its all ok.

I just received my Bomber. It's a full NJS bike, the frame is clean, no dents or rust. I bought it on Yahoo Auctions for 77k yen (625$). Damn, it was a good deal.

Conversion of a '76 Miyata. Don't see many computers on the bikes round here.
