you've clearly never left gaff tape on something for an extended period of time, especially something that probably sees sun for a good part of the day.

i have to say, thats a nice conversion. you could loose the rear brake and throw some bullhorns on there and it would still look good.

Well there's the obvious, new pedals, clips and straps. I would take the stickers off the front rim too. I don't really like the chainring and stem as well.

Over all though, looks real nice!

That wet spot up and left from the bike is wicked.

I am finally done, aside from a little polishing here and there. :)

Also had a little trouble with the light and the camera.

jacobs 05-07-07 07:50 PM

Looks good sir, glad it all worked out for you! Now just get that thing out to Kissena!

Thanks Jacob.
it will make it there. since its been re-done people are saying its actually pretty good given the condition it was in before.

queerpunk 05-07-07 08:20 PM

actually, i have... my roadie's like that too. out in the rain, snow, etc. i change it out every six months or so.

like i said, it comes off pretty clean. the rest scrubs off with citrus.

found this pic and before anyone says brown is so 1 year ago .....F.UCKING SEX ....newbies take note.

bonechilling 05-08-07 06:33 AM

I dig it. Compact geometry is pretty much superior to
traditional in every way except aesthetics.

sniks 05-08-07 06:55 AM

I'm not too into the 3 inches of space between the fork crown and the front tire but other than that I really like the bike.

I think this is the trackish frame most likely to survive a 5 foot drop and pull off a curved wall ride.
