oddly enough, that's not the first time someone has asked him to talk about those windows.
however, that bike is the first i've seen with road pedals and riser bars. how's that work out? |

This is...but let's forget the bikes for a minute... JohnProlly - let's see some more details of those arched windows!!!

Nice KHS. did you get this bike for like $250 on craigslist?
i remember the ad and thinking it was a great deal. My roadbike, mountain bike, foldable, hybrid, etc, etc have been collecting dust ever since. I swapped the seat (KHS seat by coincidence) with the one I had on my mountain bike and bought risers at a LBS for under $20...and I couldn't be happier. (except I'm starting to drool over some of the classic bikes on I see in this forum) - I thought about "fixin" my "80's" Pinarello...just don't have the heart to do it yet. |

Ok, I wasn't going to post this until I'd done some more mods to it so that we didn't have yet another stock Mercier Kilo TT picture floating around, but since I was asked to post a pic in a different thread I may as well post it here, too.
http://www.justanotherwebsite.net/images/mercier01.jpg It's a stock Mercier Kilo TT in 60cm size, although it has a Dura Ace cog, a Surly lock-ring, and Weyless risers chopped down to 46cm (although the picture was taken pre-chop, with the bars at their full 60cm width). |
The long ride/alleycat/dailydriver.
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1110/...003a18bf67.jpg this bike is fast as hell, geared 46/15. and sounds cool under viaducts |

if those are RB021s, those champs are much longer than the ones i have. mine don't even reach to the end of the flat section before the shoulder.

yeah, I took it to a trusted mechanic, he told me it is strictly cosmetic. But I wa pretty worried. It came from some fratboy ramming it in to a bike rack.
