Sparton?

I actually went to the Trackstar site to see what bikes they sold, and was like "Oh, the only thing here that Kanye West could have possibly bought is the Cinelli Vigorelli."

i didn't get to hear what patty said he upgraded. she just started laughing. he came out of the shop and a black suv pulled up just as soon as his foot touched the outside world. it was kinda weird.

Why does everyone pretend to like Kanye West? Because he really seems like an awful person. Stuff like this just validates it.

IMHO the gansta looks like a fun fun bike--and I normally like
more traditional geometry with a near horizontal tt and such--

heh. gallo'll actually ride the hell out of his. he's been a bike advocate since the 80's--even appearing on the cover of transportation alternative's newsletter once. he still has a lockup he keeps in the city to ride whenever he's around. he was a professional motorcycle racer in the 80's, so he's got 2-wheeled love.

The reasoning behind the fork (and all the geo in general) is that they were trying to approximate the ride characteristics of an early 1900's six-day racer, but with modern compact geo and tig-welding. The way the angles and tubing worked out, they needed the extra A-C height to get the right trail, head angle, etc.

Also, they are using some double-butted tubing now, so chomp on that.

I'd love to try out one of those BMW fixed frames. If only they'd put canti bosses on the fork, I could really be happy about it.

not really. It's hand made by one person. Try to find that with the same price tag elsewhere.
