Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

My relatives don't know the first thing about bikes and my friends are too poor... so I took matters into my own hands and bought a used Dura Ace crankset

My mam couldn't figure out how to get a gift card from performance (adults + internet, you know?). I think she's gonna write me a check though. I was gonna use it for tools, but maybe I'll just put it towards an 08 rush hour.

Yeah, but the fit is terrific and the jersey pockets on back are really nice. The only bad thing is all the reports of seams failing, but my tailor charges like a dollar to fix a seam so whatever

Bottle opener made out of a old chain and part of a chain ring, a tiny little old fashioned model bike that has working brakes and drive train, a stainless steel bracelet out of fake chain.

still have yet to go over to exchange gifts with family 2 where me and my pa will spend the afternoon in the basement stripping and cleaning parts from two old sweet touring bikes we found. Time with my pa working on bikes is the best present ever.

yeah, i've had mine since it came out, and i finally developed a small hole on the back, where one of the pockets is attatched. it took about one minute for my girl to fix it with black thread and a needle, and it is holding up fine.

keep in mind I've worn this hoodie a minimum of probably 4 times a week since i got it, I'd say it's holding up just fine. It's not like it was some 145 dollar streetwear nonsense.
