seconding sweet hick. great people.

bring a deck and head to the skatepark.

i had heard that roots changed ownership and that they are now going to have thai-style dishes and <gasp> MEAT on the menu? true

don't be tempted by snow lion, little tibet is where it's at!!!

Eric Hanus 01-10-08 06:59 PM

get in contact with one of us when you get into town, we could meet up and cruise.

a b seize 01-10-08 07:01 PM

they do have some thai-style dishes but i haven't noticed any meat on the menu.

to keep this on a bike topic, riding through campus is fun on the weekend because there are very few cars and very few people.

one more bike related thing, 214 N. Madison, Bloomington Community Bike Project. some rad people and some idiots volunteer there, but it's cool nonetheless.

a b seize 01-10-08 07:38 PM

sweeney 01-10-08 09:22 PM

Heh. It is a little bit surprising, I'll agree. We're doing a premiere of the Bootleg Sessions DVD, followed by a race/session. Two of the riders in the vid, myself included, are from Indy. Should be fun... there's not a lot of stuff like this going on here, so you don't want to miss it ;)

snortCRANK 01-11-08 10:14 AM

keep the bloomington thread alive

Is that the lake north and slightly east of town a ways? With a causeway that you ride on through the lake?

The one time I've been to IU, my friend and his little 5 teammates took me out that way. Beautiful area, especially with the leaves changing like they were, and the views down the valleys between the hills.
