Firstly, not to be a dick but there already is a VCU thread that pretty much encompasses all people living in Richmond. Secondly I do not think people are just going to give you parts and a frame for free, and if they were your best bet would be to go to the I Wanna Trade thread.

WHAAAA? No can has richmond thread?

Yo Sandy, Recycles usually has some good finds in their junk bins. Stems, bars, and the like can all prolly be had for for cheapskies at Recycles or the Hopping bunny!

mr. 804

maybe i should emphasized that i ABSOLUTELY am not asking ya'll to just GIVE me parts. i'm just being lazy, and asking to be pointed in teh right direction. if there were some people on this board and/or friends who desperately needed to get rid of some ****, this would be their oppurtunity.
VCU thread...too damn long. and there's too much **** going on it in. i just want to talk about finding some parts for a bike in this one.
maybe i shoulda been more specific.
thanks though!!

Fantastic thrift sometimes has a frame or two. There is also Dan the bike man on the north side, but I'm not sure how to contact him.

With someone that short it may be easier to...

a)get a taller girlfriend
b)buy her stilts instead

I have dan's number if you are interested, also I have a touring frame that used to be a three speed that could be converted to a single speed. The bottom bracket is a bit odd, more the size of BMX bottom brackets but it is a mixte frame so I am sure it would fit her. shoot me a PM if you want help with either of those.

Bikes: the hour

DC saturday??

Anyone trying to laydown some rubber in the nations capitol this weekend? Probably going to be around 40 or so. So wear your scuba gear and a hat. I've got a truck that can hold 3 or 4 if you are small.

Or just meet up there. It is a skitchin good time!

Diversity thrift has a 5 dollar bike room, maybe you could find some potential 'clients' there. Even if you had to buy a few bikes and frankenstein it out, youre only out of a few dollars.

When is this happening? I heard some folks talking about polo traveling on sunday.

Also Tink myself and a few others are headed up that way saturday to act a fool and are looking to see if anyone wants to hang/ride/whatnot.

People play here every week, dude. No need to go to DC just for polo!

I saw a group of people playing polo(alliteration!) in a park up by patterson and thompson on sunday morning. Anyone know them?

Woah, no. That's about 2 blocks from my place, though.

It's typically every Sunday, 2pm @ Holly St.
