Im one of two, this LBS is the only one in Ohio getting TWO... two. Bianchi did tell him that they were shipped over already, and were in Bianchiland over here somewhere, like 2 monthsago. Still hasn't made it to my LBS yet. I call bullocks on my LBS's part.

TK2 gotta be the nastiest looking Al track frame out. You're probably racing it though, so all the power to ya.
To Jdms mvp and all you other haters / doubters out there: I got my Concept '08 today from the LBS! What! Patience really does pay off! Next shipment of Concepts at the end of the summer my ass!!

Haha, it's that tubing that gets me. But this is purely aesthetic of course. Good for you for racing on it, should be pretty sweet.

looks sick.
as an aside though, it's ridiculous that people hate on risers in this thread, and instead applaud drops that have essentially unusable drops.
but again, it looks tight and no offense really intended.
good lookin' on the gti too. i wanna get my passat variant sprayed mayonaise white and have a frame done to match at the same time.

I mean, define unusable? I roll with deep track drops and ride in the drops all the time. Choice of bar tape and the use of gloves makes all the difference in comfort, as does saddle to bar drop. No one's talking up drops if there's 9 inches between the tip of your seat and the top of your drops...
Drops really aren't that bad, risers limit hand positions and make standing up to sprint more of a pain. The Concept is a speed machine, way too fragile for doing tricks on a daily basis and expecting it to last like steel does. Don't get me wrong, I know some fast guys that ride risers on the street and can beat me in a race, I'm just giving my opinion.

I agree. Really the only thing I've found easier to do with risers than with drops is ride with one hand. And that's probably more of an bar-saddle drop issue than actual handlebar advantage.
I love my drops.

well again, i wasn't actually tryina **** talk, but chadbro's drops seem like they'd be pretty damn unuseable to me.
proove me wrong kids, prove me wrong.
and for the record, i've used risers, horns, and drops, and while i've ben rockin risers for a minute now, i don't have dislike for the other two.

That is a pretty ridiculous bar-saddle drop. I doubt he ride in the drops. Might aswell cut up those grips and put 'em up on top, hah.

Frame is in, I'm waiting for paychecks/parts to build it up. Also gotta sell a couple things off my non-existent Bridgestone bike now (stem, bars, seatpost, wheelset).

Yes, and to fund my track racing career as well
I babied that damn Anchor too much! The damn thing broke my heart every time a new paint chip appeared. Don't worry, I'll build up the Concept to be as clean looking as the Anchor was, although no more white rims...

Got new headset spacers because those silver ones didn't match for crap. Also swapped rear wheel for my other Ellipse (non stickered).
Believe it or not, I do ride in the drops quite frequently. I have very long arms and legs so it works. lol I really don't like the look of huge bikes (or the possibility of more flex under torque) so I'd rather have a little too much seat post show than have the 700s look like 650s. lol

the picture from above makes the drop look more extreme. i'd say the bike's a hair small on you but not in a ridiculous or unrideable way. but dude, elite sprinters ride this bike. you're not going to feel more flex under torque from a frame two cm larger.
if you were riding it on the track you would probably find that you'd be getting better results with the bars a bit higher up. your upper body would still be in an aerodynamic position but you'd get better power from separating your knees and your chest. i prefer to get low by bending my elbows.
but nobody's lining up to stroke "unrideable" saddle to bar drops.

I'm about to bail on my preorder and begin looking for a vintage track frame.
I cant stand this wait, bianchi is dicking around... or my LBS, one of the two. Anyone Have a 57-59cm naga or level laying around?

Yea, I guess you're right. I mean, I know it could be better, but at this point I'm just ecstatic that I actually have the frame and the wait is over. The first night I had it I woke up and ran to the garage to make sure it wasn't a dream. lol
