most of you have probably sen that vid before, but for those that haven't check it out. Fixed gear tandem sprinting used to be a track discipline back in the days. you cn find track tandems in some old school bike shops. I think there was one in Via in Philly for a while.

and everybody in this thread talking about girlfriends is pathetic.

GBD tandem track cycling is also a paralympic discipline, cuz a blind person can be the stoker.

my sweet lady and i are moving in together soon. the two things i want to come out of cohabitation more than anything else are a puppy and a tandem bike.

i have no idea how we'll have space for a tandem in brooklyn, but i'm willing to forfeit a couch in favor of a tandem.

I did an alleycat with my wife on our tandem. The funny thing is that we made a food stop and there were burritos involved.

I bought a $50 Craigslist tandem and restored it for my wedding this past December. The lady and I haven't had a lot of seat time because of the cold, but I'm looking forward to spring!

I like bikes. Dying in traffic, not so much.
