What's the different between whole wheat and multi grain bread?
Why are baguettes in the US so horrible compared to them in France? Is the air better for making bread over there or something? They taste so different its not even the same thing over here! If I had access to real french baguettes I would have one of those for every meal with butter for breakfast, cheese for lunch, and rotisserie chicken for dinner.

I eat bread with lots of fibers and other stuff. Never white bread. Here in Finland rye bread is very popular, and it's one of the staple foods that I have wholeheartedly accepted/adapted to.
But I don't eat my weight in bread per week - I really hope that was an exaggeration on the OP's part. Otherwise, if it was in fact an accurate statement of his bread consumption - look out for diabetes!

I just bought some of this last week in Seattle, and it makes the best sandwiches I've ever had. A little pricey but I will not be buying any other type any time soon.

My mom told me about this. It's very yummy, easy to make, and cheap.
I think I'll go and mix up a loaf right now.

Oatnut & Flax seed bread w/ garlic lovers hummus. Its pretty damned good.
I enjoy pretty much any good bread, though. I like mixing some olive oil, garlic, feta cheese, and crushed up olives and using that as a dip for crusty breads.

I eat about a loaf a week, my grocery store has a bakery and they make a nice loaf of Ancient Grains. I also eat a few whole wheat rolls.
I'd say beans and rice are my main fuel though. I should probably start soaking some more black beans soon...

Big mofo baguette and any of the following:
Stilton
old, frighteningly sharp cheddar
bleu
camembert
margarine
smooth PB
Other than that, I don't eat that much bread. I eat toast, and lots of it. Toast is what boring old bread becomes after it's done cooking.

Oh, and don't forget bolillos. When I was a kid we went down to Mexico to visit some relatives and I must have eaten hundred loaves with marmelada de naranja.
Good memories.

i eat two bagels a day, one in the morning and one at dinner time.
and when i'm at work i get my fill of amoroso's rolls (best sandwich roll ever!). and i eat toast when i'm hungry. i'm so cheap. i cook one meal a day with my roommate, usually pasta with some quickly cooked sauce made out of canned tomatos and garlic. i really wish i could eat better bread.

**** yeah dude! that bread is the absolute best ever.. i miss it so much, they dont have it here..
my favorite is to put vegenaise and sriracha on the bread, cranberry sauce on one side, tofurkey and lettuce on the other and nom nom nom.. if i have mashed potatoes i throw some on there too.. best sandwich ever..
i absolutely love sourdough too.. making it tho, now thats another story.. the smell of the fermenting sourdough starter will either make you never eat it again, or really appreciate it more
.. i just made some sourdough the other day with "fermented" (read: rotten) pineapple juice and fresh dill and that **** is SO good..srsly

Me too + grapes and a tomato. The doggies are circling me like sharks.
Don't have any circling gifs. Here's spinning :edit: and a shark

I eat my weight in bread weekly. I find this relevant to cycling because it's the fuel that keeps me commuting, and racing. Most cyclists I know eat the stuff by the pound, or drink by the six pack like a junkie looking for a bump.
So, if you're one of the many who also eats his/her weight weekly in bread... tell us about it.
I like sourdough myself.

(when ya live out here in the SF bay area, what else?)
I am an admitted toasted sourdough and mayonaise freak (been putting mayo on toast since I was a kid

I'm not picky. Just can't be white bread.
It serves as a carrier for PB and whatever suits my mood.
Top 3 PB & sandwiches
Bananas
Jelly - has to be raspberry or blackberry with the seeds.
Sriracha <- Poor man's thai food right there.

My neighbor bakes bread and delivers it on his bike. Ten dollars gets you a loaf every Sunday for one month.
He makes a delicious cinnamon swirl and his carrot bread is mouth watering. I could keep going but it would make your stomach growl.
/I also like bagels
