What the hell, I come into this thread after work and the entire thing is one sided. I can't see the response thread all I see are a bunch of "we believe this guy" and I can't see any rebuttles. Is there some serious one sided modding going on or was their some harsh language being used?

wroomwroomoops your posts were deleted? I've never seen you post anything delete worthy so I am inclined to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume there is some whacky one sided modding going on.

There was no harsh language at all. None at all. Not in the many posts that were deleted. At least not in those I wrote and the ones I saw - and then didn't see anymore.

I said this on deathhare's other thread, but this should surprise no one. I was "permanently" banned from this forum as a spammer ("Spammer Be Gone!," is what my banishment said) because I disagreed with a moderator in a PM. I don't want to claim that they're all belligerent and petty pricks who disregard the rules at there convenience, but there certainly seem to be plenty of those around.

Is that when you were banned "by mistake"? Send me an e-mail about the details, if you have time/inclination

Glad you are unbanned, you are on my top ten list of posters I can count on to either:

a) Have the answer
b) Lay down the law

I'm have no desire or reason to keep it secret. I was given two infractions, one after the other, but that Siu Blue Wind guy that everyone here seems to love. Then, a few hours later, I was banned by Mr. Smashy. Here is what my PM from Mr. Smashy said:

Dear bonechilling,

You have received an infraction at Bike Forums.

Reason: Spammer be gone!
-------
It really isn't worth fighting the mods, this newest case has just wore out your welcome here.
-------

This infraction is worth 5 point(s) and may result in restricted access until it expires. Serious infractions will never expire.

All the best,
Bike Forums

Yes, Please explain yourself.

Mention about a past Tommasini thread leads to an infraction is a bit Draconian and very un-characteristic of good moderators on the Bike forum. What will be the point of coming to Bike forums and having to worry about you banning me and you deleting everyones post. You might as well just get it over with and kick my ass out so I can skip this BS.

Cheers,

mr_macgee

PS. It would be good to hear more dialog from Mozzy66 and the Tommasini USA. I believe this scenario is more common in the bike industry than the public thinks with old brands being resurrected by local distributors and having them made in Asia.

What is a Tommasini other than a name? Is there an actual factory in Italy owned by Tommasini or do they just farm out the work to a bunch of different Italian shops with the lowest bid and slap there name on it? Isn't that how it's been in the past in the 90's with Masi & Tommasini? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Be careful when discussing this topic. TALK ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE. You have been warned. Next will be an INFRACTION.

Well, since being in the business since a while and having tried not just a few of those shops but many, I know how hard it is to achieve the quality of what Tommasini produces. I do not know whether he produces every carbon frame himself, but I was down in Grosseto and saw a very well organized, little production around his steel and aluminium frames. You mention Masi, wait and subscribe to our newsletter.
