Yeah. Hell will know for sure, but I tend to believe Thomas Schreier AKA mozzy. Also.... if his story checks out (as I expect) this right here is defamation, and it is prosecutable as a criminal offence.

I love that at the end of the day it's a tigged ss frame made of lower end columbus tubing for $800 plus $100 international shipping.

I've no doubt that it's a fine bike, but $900 will buy you a lot more bike frame than that.

Don't be too negative. I think those frames are built very nicely. Look at this:

EDIT: sorry, that wasn't their track frame. It is a Gorilla Tommasini, but road.

if you have ever owned a tommasini you can tell that these frames do not represent our quality in any way.

Mr. Schreier,

Is not affiliated with Tommasini in any way. You may choose who you want to believe - him or our family. Several years ago he bought 4 to 6 OLD frames from our factory that were not Tommasini quality - they were made as demo bikes with inferior tubing. Now suddenly, he has a lot of bikes he claims are Tommasini frames, and he has been selling them all over the world. Yes he has spoken to my cousin Alessandro - and he was told several times to STOP what he was doing. If Mr. Schreier would like to claim that I am not speaking the truth, I would encourage him to contact his attorney, I will be glad to give him our attorney's contact info as well and he can go from there.

Bottom line - I have no reason to stop any legitimate dealer from selling our product - that would not be good for business. I do however, have every reason to protect our family brand. Thank you for your support.

If RideTommasini is right, why are we reading an internet flame war instead of court transcripts?

Because he is in Europe - NOT the USA.

THIS IS OUR LAST POST REGARDING THIS MATTER

Mr. Schreier's statements are not correct - Tommasini Italy owns all rights to all Tommasini trademarks, Tommasini USA is only the family office in the states. We only produce frames at our factory in Italy. Real Tommasini frames are displayed on our US website and Italy website only, in addition, a list of real Tommasini importers/distributor offices are listed on our Italy website. The Tommasini importer for Switzerland is Sport Planet Gmbh - not Thomas Schreier.

I just spoke with my cousin Barbara Tommasini and she asked if anyone has purchased a Tommasini frame from Thomas, if you could please send us photos of your frame AND any written information he gave you stating they were made by Tommasini. We would really appreciate it. You can email them to inquiries@ridetommasini.com - In addition, if anyone has questions, please feel free to email me, I will not be responding to any posts in the forum after this. Thanks.

It's not like he's bootlegging out of China, there's laws in Europe.

You are more than welcome to contact the factory directly. You can talk to Barbara Tommasini (daughter of Irio Tommasini. That should clear everything up.

You are not buggin me at all. this entire situation has been very frustrating for our family. We just want to ensure that customers do not get taken advantage of. it is very unfortunate that this has occurred and the factory is working on trying to resolve this matter on their end as well. It has come down to a situation of "he said she said" and it seems that some people do not seem to realize that this is our family's brand - we are not just some distributor. Therefore - we do not have any problem telling people to feel free to contact the factory directly if they have questions. It is not good for our brand to continue responding to his posts, and we will not do that. However if a customer has a question they can email me directly or call me and I will be more than happy to assist them. My contact info is on www.ridetommasini.com and it is also listed on our Italy website.

We are actually working on developing a standard steel track frame to add to the current product line. We currently offer the steel lugged frames (tecno & sintesi) with track geometry. There is a reason our frames are not cheap. We only use top of the line tubing, we build everything by hand and we do a limited production of all frames each year - we have never mass produced our frames OR sold a license to anyone else to produce our frames and we will not do that - it would kill our brand.

I leave for Italy this week and we will be visiting family as well as discussing Tommasini items - the track frame is a topic of discussion, so if you have input - please email me at inquiries@ridetommasini.com with your input - we are very open to customer ideas and comments.

Thats what we need. A standard steel track frame. Preferbly lugged but not costing 2000 bucks and maybe not made with the ultimate tubing.

NO DOUBT! and i guess pointing out that a uni-crown fork would be a huge no no, would be moot at best.
